Matric results: Curro Hillcrest

The school had a 100 per cent pass rate and a 96 per cent Bachelor's Degree pass.

CURRO Hillcrest celebrated the excellent set of results produced by its second group of matrics.

The school had a 100 per cent pass rate and a 96 per cent Bachelor’s Degree pass. There was an average of two subject distinctions per candidate and 22 per cent of these were greater than 90 per cent.

Erin Nel is in the top 1 per cent of English candidates and Kirsten Ivins, Sarah-Ann Braithwaite and Caitlin Nxumalo are in the top 1 per cent of life orientation candidates.

“We would like to congratulate our Grade 12 class of 2018 for their sound academic results. Their tenacity and consistency in revision have ensured Curro Hillcrest’s continued reputation for academic excellence.

“Our class of 2018 has left a formidable academic legacy through their diligence and focused study. We wish them well for continued success in their chosen future careers,” said the acting head of the high school, Terri Dennis.
