Westville food drive blesses many folk

The Robin Hood Foundation collected nearly 160 bags for their Bless-A-Granny and Grandpa campaign.

THE Rotary Club of Westville’s recent food drive at Westville Pick n Pay and SuperSpar was a great success.

Westville residents generously donated thousands and thousands of Rands worth of groceries for those in need.

The Robin Hood Foundation collected nearly 160 bags for their Bless-A-Granny and Grandpa campaign for upcoming projects and Rotary distributed more bags to Dawncliffe Westville senior citizens, Phrenaid Mandalay House and John Palmer Residence for the Blind.

Robin Hood Foundation’s Kim Griffith-Jones said they are blown away by the incredible support from the Westville community and are so grateful the Rotary Club of Westville chose to partner with them again this year.

“What a wonderful blessing for those who will be receiving these generous donations in the next few weeks. Our most humble thanks to Rotary and the wonderful community we live in,” said Kim.
