Fun relay raises funds for charities

More than R40 000 was raised for the six charities.

THE inaugural running of the Charity Challenge Relay took place on Saturday, 1 December at Hillcrest High School and was a resounding success on all fronts with a lot of fun had by everyone involved.

The event was arranged by The Rotary Club of Hillcrest with the aim of raising funds for six nominated charities, while also encouraging some healthy competition between relay teams from different organisations as well as between the team members themselves.
