Dashing pooches take to the catwalk for Husky Rescue KZN

Catch Durbanites and their adorable dogs strut their stuff at the ResQ the Runway event this weekend.

THE final countdown for Husky Rescue KZN’s event of the year, ResQ the Runway, is on Saturday, 10 November from 2pm at Hillcrest High School’s Inanda sports field.

For the first time, five rescue organisations, 35 adoptable dogs, a runway extravaganza, comedy to tickle your funny bone and a stage show to steal your breath, will all be convening at one event.

Your support will raise much-needed funds for each of the rescue centres and will give animal rescue a chance to give back to you in entertainment value.

The organisations that will benefit from the project include PARR from PMB, Border Collie Rescue KZN, Husky Rescue KZN, Animal Antics Rescue from Botha’s Hill and Friends of K9 from Hillcrest.

“MegazoneMedia, Rory Petzer, Hillcrest High School, several well known models and members of our community have joined this collaboration to bring you the best value for your money,” said Charnell Ruth from Husky Rescue KZN.

There will be a variety of stalls open on the day selling food, drinks and various paraphernalia. The tickets cost R150 per person and R75 each for children under 12.

Tickets can be purchased at Pick n Pay, at the gate or online at www.webtickets.co.za
