KSP learners walk like ancient Egyptians

The Grade 5 learners at Kloof Senior Primary School took a step back in time to celebrate Egypt Day.

The hall at Kloof Senior Primary School was almost unrecognisable as it was completely transformed into an ancient Egypt. During Egypt Day, an annual event at the school, the learners busied themselves by creating different crafts and sampling the cuisine of the region, while chariot racing across the field captured the attention of Grade 5’s adrenaline junkies. Learners were encouraged to dress up and the annual event helped make the history curriculum come alive for the young, enquiring minds.
