The Deutsche Schule Durban is a small school that’s big on music.
Earlier this year, the school won R10 000 in the Checkers MyLittleGarden School Choir Competition.
This prize money will be used to buy more musical instruments so that more children, even those without their own instruments, can take part in the popular school orchestras.
Music lovers have a chance to see the school’s senior orchestra perform this Saturday morning, 27October at Shongweni Market.
