The two constables helped fixed a car that had broken down on the N3 freeway.

“The driver of the car had already called for road side assistance and Cst Msane offered to check what was wrong with the car,” said Squires.

Msane found that a petrol pipe was leaking and fixed it.

“The driver and his occupants were able to continue with their journey. We are very proud of these officers. Msane went over and beyond his line of duty,” said Squires.

While Msane was busy fixing the car, Mazibuko made sure the occupants of the car were safe at the verge of the freeway.
