Have your say on proposed Pinetown cell mast installation

A proposal for a cell mast in Underwood Road in Pinetown has been submitted.

RESIDENTS in Pinetown have until Friday, 5 October to submit their representations regarding the installation of a cell mast.

The inner west scheme includes consent for the establishment of a 25m telecommunication mast and base station, and the relaxation of the front (northern) building line from 7.5m to nil, and the side (western) space from 3m to nil, on portion 30 of erf 6810 Pinetown in Underwood Road.

A copy of the application and its accompanying documents will be open for inspection by interested members of the public between 8am and 12.30pm on Monday to Firday (excluding public holidays) at the offices of the Land Use Management branch.

Residents are invited to lodge written objections by hand to the regional co-ordinator: Inner West region, Land Use Management Branch, Pinetown Civic (Sizakala) Centre, 2nd floor, 60 Kings Road, Pinetown, or by registered post to PO Box 680, Durban , 4000 or by fax to 031 701 8863 or via e-mail to Celiwe.Mpungose@durban.gov.za (Inner West Regional Office number, 031 311 6265.

Should residents fail to lodge or forward objections to both parties by the above mentioned date, the objection will be invalid.
