Sponsors restore vandalised Pinetown Welfare safe house

Prior to the renovation the home was uninhabitable for children as it had been vandalised on several occasions.

A VANDALISED safe-home for children has been renovated and is ready for occupation. The Pinetown Highway Child And Family Welfare Society thanked everyone who responded to its plea to refurbish the KwaDabeka safe home.

Acting director, Sibongile Manyathi, said the house was no longer habitable for children as it had been vandalised on several occasions.

“The sponsors assisted us to install new plumbing, connected electricity, repaired furniture, fixed the doors, windows and cleaned the yard.

“This will really help us continue our work of housing neglected children. This home will make a huge difference,” she said.
