Comment on cell mast installation

Kloof and Forest Hills residents still have a few more days to submit their response regarding the installation of two cellphone masts.

RESIDENTS in Kloof and Forest Hills have a few days left to submit their representations regarding the installation of two cell masts.

The submission date for the establishment of a 30m high telecommunication mast for ATC at Erf 72 Forest Hills is on Thursday, 23 August.

The environmental assessment practitioner (EAP) for the project is Turbiouse Solutions CC.

Any interested and affected party must, in writing, make representations on the proposed activity or request to be registered as an interested or affected party by submitting a written representation or registration request.

Include your name, physical and postal address (including a fax or e-mail where possible) and contact numbers.

Also include the activity reference number (DM/0021/2018 NEAS: KZNEIA/0000895/2018).

Residents can submit their representation regarding the construction and installation of a tower at ERF 2188 Kloof, by Atlas Towers, by 28 August.

The total area of the project covers about 64m squared and includes the tower and up to four service provider containers.

EcoUrb Projects was appointed as the independent environmental assessment practitioner.
