Pinetown church gives back to Mariannhill community

Legacy of Faith donated 48 school shoes and school jerseys to schools around the Mariannhill area.

MEMBERS of Legacy of Faith, a new church in Pinetown, were excited to begin their first outreach programme as a church.

They bought jerseys, shoes and added goodie bags for Mariannhill children.

Pastor Susan Spalding said they felt blessed to be able to be a blessing to other people who are not as fortunate as them.

“This is a family church and is fairly new as we have been in the Pinetown area for a year and few months.

“To give back, we approached Ward 15 councillor, Sifiso Ngcobo, who went around the schools to speak to the principals,” said Spalding.

Each school around the Mariannhill area chose five learners and they gathered at Tshelimnyama Hall on Friday, 3 August to receive their new uniforms.
