Vintage car show comes to Durban

Dress up and experience a timeless era at Durban's inaugural Concours d’ Elegance.

DURBAN’S finest in classic vintage motoring will be on display at the prestigious regional Concours d’ Elegance, co-hosted by the Durban Country Club, on Sunday, 12 August 8am.

The event, the first of its kind in Durban, boasts a gathering of 200 of the most elegant collector’s cars, all competing for the title of ‘Best of Show’.

The classic automobiles will undergo a rigorous judging process highlighting their historic accuracy, mechanical merit and their style.

Among the delights featured will be a timeless Mercedes Benz 190SL, a Jaguar E-Type, a classic 1928 Rolls Royce Phantom 1 Tourer and a 1957 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud masterpiece.

To bring history alive, Concours d’ Elegance Durban has encouraged visitors to dress in their finest ensembles in celebration of a timeless era.

Tickets cost R120 per adult, R60 per child under 12 and pensioners enter free.
