THE I Heart Market has grown from a mere 12 stalls on a pavement in Windermere Road, to a booming monthly event with more than 130 traders.

The market trades from 9am to 2pm on the first Saturday of every month as well as for three consecutive Saturdays in December on the lawns of the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium: 4 August, 1 September, 6 October, 3 November and 1, 8 and 22 December.

A shoppers’ delight, the market provides a vibrant and social space, offering a curated collection of locally sourced, hand and homemade goods.

The market offers a variety of stalls from fresh foods to local fashion, children’s toys and clothing to homeware, décor, art and ceramics, hand-crafted jewellery, second-hand collectables, vintage clothing to treats for every taste.

“We encourage handcrafted, locally designed, organic, repurposed, up-cycled, locally sourced and delicious products,” said Anna Savage, founder of the I Heart Market.

“We work to ensure that we have the finest creatives trading at the market. This is what drives us and makes theI Heart Market distinctive.”

Anna ensures that only exceptional, well-made and unique products with a good design ethic are selected for the market.

“The I Heart Market is a celebration of our local community of makers, and in this way, it works to empower entrepreneurs and boost the local economy.”
