A 22-YEAR-OLD woman was assaulted and killed at her home in Winston Park this morning.
Russel Meiring of ER24 said local security forces were already at the scene when paramedics arrived.
Paramedics found the woman lying on the floor in a pool of blood inside her home.

“It is believed the woman was hit on the head with a brick,” said Meiring.
She sustained a serious head wound and showed no signs of life.
“Unfortunately, nothing could be done for her and she was declared dead,” he said.
The local SAPS were at the scene.
The Highway Mail has requested comment from the SAPS.
UPDATE 25 July 2018, 3pm:
Police have since confirmed that a 20-year-old woman was killed during an alleged domestic dispute. A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene. He was allegedly stabbed in the stomach.
