WESSA welcomes new board member

Nontobeko Sibisi will apply her years of knowledge of the tourism, travel and hospitality sector as well her experience as a CEO of a global leadership company to her role at the NGO.

THE Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa (WESSA) was pleased to announce the appointment of Nontobeko Sibisi as a Non-Executive Director on the WESSA Board of Directors.

Nontobeko Sibisi studied travel and tourism in Richards Bay in 2003 and worked in the travel and hospitality sector for close to 10 years before she moved into the corporate sector. She is the founder and CEO of Bhubesikazi Investment Holdings, a global company involved in leadership training and development.

Nontobeko is a passionate orator, published author, peacekeeper and mediator. She has a deep dedication to developing the youth and strongly believes in value-based leadership.

“Nontobeko will take on the education and youth portfolio, where we look forward to her contribution towards youth development at WESSA, and to people caring for the earth,” said WESSA’s CEO, Dr Thommie Burger.
