Parents celebrated at pre-primary

Berea West Pre-Primary learners treated their moms and dads to a morning of fun activities.

BEREA West Pre-Primary School introduced a parent’s day presentation in an effort to ensure all children feel included.

The day was a culmination of both Mother’s and Father’s Day, a way for children to celebrate mom and dad.

“Some learners don’t have both parents and this is just so that they will have someone here on the day,” said the school’s principal, Feroza Domun.

The parents were treated to tea and snacks while the children danced and sang. A few parents even joined in, much to the delight of the little ones. To finish off the morning, the parents and their children placed painted hand prints around the sand pit wall.
