Grab a bargain at boot sale

The car boot sale fund-raiser has moved from the Hillcrest Sports Club to the basement parking at the Hillcrest Corner.

IF you are hoping to grab a bargain or find a trinket or two, visit the Rotary Club of Hillcrest’s car boot sale at its new venue in the basement parking at the Hillcrest Corner on Saturday, 7 July from 7am to 9.30am.

There will be a large variety of second-hand goods on sale from clothing to workshop equipment.

You can also sell your own unwanted, good quality items at the market.

The Rotary Club of Hillcrest’s Dennis Wesley said this was a great way for residents to clear out their cupboards.

“The change of venue also makes the event weatherproof,” said Dennis.

Sellers will be charged R100 per vehicle.

No booking is required for vendors and the fee can be paid at the entrance.

Entry is free for buyers. Contact Martin Wheeler on 078 982 9034.
