EThekwini Electricity will be performing an essential maintenance work on the 132 kV Overhead Transmission Line between Klaarwater substation and Hillcrest/Waterfall substation. The maintenance will improve the reliability and quality of supply to the network.
Residents are advised that there will be an interruption of electricity supply on Sunday, 24 June 2018 from 07h00 to 13h00 to facilitate the maintenance work.
The following areas will be affected: Hillcrest, Waterfall, Kloof (partially), Botha’s Hill, Assagay, Dassenhoek, Shongweni, Ngcolosi, Kwanyuswa, Gillits, Molweni, Crestholme, Winston Park.
During the power outage, customers must treat all installations as live.
