Break Barbara out of the Dog Box

John Wesley School challenges other Highway schools to meet or beat their R500 donation to Barbara's bail money.

LWAZI Majola, Tamelo Mapotse, Sanda and Lizwi Makhanya and Xolisani Ntanzi are a few of the John Wesley School learners who contributed to the R500 donation towards Barbara Laubscher’s Dog Box Challenge R10 000 bail money.

For 24 hours, Barbara and other participants will be locked up in one of the kennels at the Kloof and Highway SPCA for its annual fund-raiser.

Each participant is tasked with raising R10 000 for their release and Barbara has reached about R7 000.

“We would like to challenge other Highway schools to help set her free,” said John Wesley School’s PA to the principal and marketing manager, Lilian Corden-Lloyd.

The challenge will start from Friday, 25 May at noon to Saturday, 26 May at 12pm and people are invited to support this worthy cause.
