Husky Rescue to create a ‘fur-ever’ legacy

Become a donor and supporter and help the local NPO continue its much-needed work.

TO support Husky Rescue KZN and raise funds for man’s furriest friends, Highway residents gathered for a musical evening at the Durban Shongweni Club on Sunday evening.

The Black Lapels, consisting of Rob Warren, Garth Warren, Andrew Makins and Luke Wyngaard, took fans on a musical journey down memory lane with Bad Moon Rising to Rollin’ and Suzy Q.

Husky Rescue KZN rescues stray and unwanted huskies as far as its financial resources allow.

The dogs are treated, sterilised, micro-chipped, rehabilitated and fostered until their ‘fur-ever’ homes are found.

The running cost of the organisation is, on average, R50 000 per month.
