Pinetown Police seek relatives of deceased man

The man was found hanging from a tree in Wyebank.

PINETOWN police are looking for the relatives of a man that was found hanging from a tree at Fern Place in Wyebank.

Pinetown Cluster communications officer, Capt Bongumusa Manqele, said on Friday, 13 April, the owner of the house went to pick bananas from a tree in his garden behind his house when he noticed a red T-shirt in a tree.

“On closer inspection, he saw a man, unknown to him, hanging from the tree with a belt. He called his neighbours to identify the man but unfortunately no one knew him.

“He estimated the man to be in his 40s; he was wearing a red T-shirt and black track pants,” said Manqele.
