Another Mariannhill resident goes missing

Mbali Peggy Kunene was last seen on Friday, 16 March and is the ninth person to be reported missing by Mariannhill police in the past five months.

MBALI Peggy Ngwane is the ninth person to be reported missing by Mariannhill SAPS since last year November.

The 22-year-old from KwaSanti, Mariannhill was last seen on Friday, 16 March when she was on her way to town, but she never returned home.

She was last seen wearing a black jeans, orange shirt and maroon jacket.

Police are appealing to anyone who might have information on her whereabouts to contact W/O JB Sthebe from Mariannhill police on 073 190 1442 or Crime Stop on 086 0010 111.

The other seven people who were reported missing have still not been traced while Xolisile Chonco’s body was found in a shallow grave in the Mpola area, Dassenhoek in the early hours of Thursday, 22 February. Xolisile was found three weeks after her disappearance.

Two men, her boyfriend and his sibling were arrested for her murder.
