Help Mariannhill police find three missing people

Anyone who has information on Nkosinathi Shozi, Thandi Zondiwe Thusi and Nkululeko Mpehle is urged to contact the police.

MARIANNHILL police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of three missing people, Nkosinathi Shozi, Thandi Zondiwe Thusi and Nkululeko Mpehle.

Shozi (25) was last seen on 7 March in Milkyway Road, Dassenhoek. He was last seen by his father when he left home and he never returned.

The details of 44-yea- old Thusi’s disappearance from Funda Road in St Wendolins are unknown.

The third missing person is Mpehle (41) from Matatiela in the Eastern Cape.

He was last seen on 2 March 2018 at 10am in the Tshelimnyama area, Mariannhill where he stays with his brother.

He was last seen wearing a long sleeve shirt with stripes, a long brown trouser and black and brown boots. He suffers from a mental illness.

 

Nkululeko Mpehle was last seen on 2 March 2018.

Anyone who has any information on their whereabouts is urged to contact D/W/O JB Sithebe on  031 717 2090/1 or on 073 190 1442 or Crime Stop  on 08600 10111.

This follows several other disappearances from the Mariannhill area in recent months, including an 18-year-old girl that disappeared in November, a couple that vanished in December last year and two other women aged, 35 and 19 who have also been missing since December.

On 22 February police also found the body of 30-year-old Xolisile Chonco, who was reported missing on 2 February. She was found in a shallow grave not far from her home in Mpola, Mariannhill.
