Molweni DJ’s soul is in tune with music
Dj Expanded Soul will be releasing his single at the end of February.
KNOWN for his talent behind the decks Molweni deejay, Sanele Lembethe, known as Dj Xpandedsoul, will be releasing a single at the end of the month.
The 23-year-old is under Impressive Soul Entertainment, founded by Bayanda Mngwengwe, also a Molweni resident, to promote young talent.
Growing up listening to music and being surrounded by music lovers, Sanele wanted to be in the music industry for as long as he can recall.
“I love music and making people dance,” he said.
Sanele plays commercial and the famous ‘Gqom’ music. He said it is not easy for people to get gigs if your name is not known in the industry.

“Sometimes you are exploited as other people expect you to perform for free as they say they are doing you a favour by giving you a platform.
“I really think that’s the main challenge that up-and-coming deejays experience all the time. That has never put me down as I know where I want to be.”
He said deejays do not need to wait for a booking but need to create their own events.
The Impressive Soul Entertainment hosts an annual Christmas after-party in Molweni where DJs from the Outer West are given a platform.

This also provides an opportunity for young people to have fun closer to their homes and they do not have go to the City to have a good time.
Sanele said his focus is 100 per cent on music as he is also a producer.
