New-look café unveiled at St May’s DSG

The original café was opened by Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Mpilo Tutu back in 1994.

ST Mary’s DSG welcomed special guests to the grand opening of the Saints Café recently.

It was a lovely occasion and an opportunity to thank those who were involved in the set up, to cut the ribbon and celebrate a new and exciting space for the St Mary’s family.

The Saints Cafe overlooks the AstroTurf and was formally known as The Pavilion.

The Pavilion was originally opened by the Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Mpilo Tutu on 4 November 1994. The space was then revamped and Saints Cafe, sponsored by the Parents’ Society, was opened in February 2018.
