KZN bikers rally for Cape Town water crisis

The biking fraternity is driving this initiative, but appeals to everyone to participate in this event.

KZN bikers partnered with Pavilion and Gift of the Givers to help collect and distribute water to the Western Cape.

The biking fraternity is driving this initiative, but appeals to everyone to participate in this event.

The team will meet on Sunday, 25 February from 8am. They will depart from Pavilion at 9.30am, and travel to Kuswag School, Amanzimtoti, which will be the drop-off point for the water.

Trucks will be made available by Campos Transport, one of the co-sponsors, on site to collect all water donated and dropped off.

Gift of the Givers will be palletising the bottled water and co-ordinating distribution in the Western Cape

For those who are not able to carry bottled water the option of cash donations is available.

The cash donations can be made at Kuswag Skool.

A receipt will be issued for cash donations received.

There is a water company where the bottled water will be purchased from with the donations received.

The aim is to collect 10 000, 5 litre sealed water bottles.
