Security guards gunned down in New Germany
It is believed the assailants were after the security officers' weapons.
TWO security guards were shot in Freese Road in New Germany this morning.
The two men were found lying a few metres from their vehicle by paramedics. According to ER24 spokesman, Ineke van Huyssteen, one of the men was seriously injured and the other had moderate injuries.

“Both men sustained gunshot wounds. It is believed an unknown number of suspects allegedly robbed the two security guards of their weapons,” said van Huyssteen.
The two security guards were taken to hospital. The local SAPS were at the scene and will be investigating.
