The older girl heard the dog barking and went to check what was happening.

Speaking about the traumatic ordeal, the teenager said, “I saw a man kicking the dog as it was biting his pants.

“I then heard a noise at the back, I quickly went to check and saw another man coming towards the door. He tried to open it but luckily I got there just in time and locked it.

She then took her younger sister and locked themselves in the bathroom.

“That is when I sent a voice note to alert our dad that there are people on the premises.”
