Recycling programme and collection of bags temporarily closed

Residents are urged to keep their recyclables in their orange and clear bags in their homes or yards until further notice.

ETHEKWINI Municipality has announced that the City’s domestic Kerbside recycling programme and the collection of recycling bags are temporarily closed due to repairs taking place at the plant of its recycling partner, MPACT.

Repairs are expected to be completed by mid-January. Residents are urged to keep their recyclables in their orange and clear bags in their homes or yards until further notice.
