Man arrested in Westville for possession of date-rape drug
The man and his friend were arrested after 46.8 grams of dagga and 16 grams of rohypnol tablets were allegedly found in their possession.
A DURBAN music producer appeared in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 27 December after he was arrested by Durban Metro Police officers in Westville for possession of dagga and rohypnol (a date-rape drug).

According to reports, the man and a friend were arrested after 46.8 grams of dagga and 16 grams of rohypnol tablets were found in their possession.
Police spokesperson, Lt-Col Thulani Zwane confirmed the 25-year-old was arrested outside a Westville pub.
“Police were patrolling the Westville area at Jan Hofmeyr Road and upon searching him, they found drugs and dagga in his possession‚” he said.
The case has been postponed until next year.
