Senior citizens blessed with early Christmas gifts

For more than eight years, the Robin Hood Foundation has been hosting their Bless-a-Granny and Grandpa campaign and visit nearly 3 000 elderly residents of local Old Age Homes in November and December each year.

RESIDENTS at Zibambeleni Old Age Home were spoiled with delicious eats and early Christmas presents from PRO Appointments as part of the Robin Hood Bless A Granny and Grandpa campaign.

The home in KwaDabeka has about 100 residents and most of them have no families.

CEO of PRO Appointments, Cindy Norcott, said they are always thrilled to be able to visit Zibambeleni and give them a variety of treats, including food and clothes, in time for Christmas.

“Our visit also included music from wonderful Maskandi artists, David Qadasi Jenkins and Maqhinga Radebe,” she said.
