Trail runners dogged about helping SPCA

The Kloof and Highway SPCA raised more than R9 000 at its recent trail run adventure fund-raiser.

Craig Hallett took second place in the 15km race.

FUN was had by all of the participants of the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s recent fund-raiser run at Giba Gorge.

The sunny skies were perfect for the runners as they all set off accompanied by their dogs.

A total of 117 people attended along with 24 dogs.

More than R9 000 was raised for the local non-profit organisation.

“Thank you to Thirsty’s Water, Nature Zone and Wedgewood for keeping our runners hydrated and happy throughout their race.

Congratulations to all of our winners and thank you to everyone who supported us,” said the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s marketing officer, Brigette Ferguson.
