TWO men were arrested for rape on Sunday, 15 October in two different incidents.
In one of the incidents, a 35-year-old man was arrested for raping his 14-year-old nephew in Clermont.

“It is alleged on the same day at 5am, the victim was awaken by her uncle who was raping her,” said Pinetown SAPS communications officer, Capt Bongumusa Manqele.
“The matter was reported to the family and the man was taken to KwaDabeka police station where he was arrested for rape,” said Manqele
In a separate incident on the same day at about 5.50pm, a 49-year-old man was arrested for raping a 13-year-old girl also in Clermont.

“It is alleged the man’s sister took the girl who lives next door to her brother’s room and left her.
“The man allegedly raped the girl and the victim reported the matter to the family. A case of rape was registered at KwaDabeka Police Station.
