TIFFANY Miller, a Grade 12 learner at Thomas More College, is its high school SPAR Star of the Month.
Tiffany has loved all things cultural since young and has been involved in many different aspects.
The first award she received was for the best monologue performance in her age group at the English Eisteddfod.
She then entered the South African Championships of Performing Arts where she was selected as part of a team to represent South Africa in Hollywood at the World Championships of Performing Arts.
She won the acting sections for her age group.
Tiffany has also performed in productions such as Footloose with the Rainbow Young Performers, multiple school productions including Cats, where she played Grizzabella and Noises Off, where she played Belinda.
She has appeared in two adverts for Game and a South African film called African Christmas Journey, where she played the lead role of Emma.
Tiffany has been scouted by well-known acting coaches from around the globe, including Janet Alanthi, who coaches Robert Downey Jnr, as well as other artists, and Kim Meyers, the main scout for Disney.
Tiffany said, “I cannot live or breathe without culture and performance, it is what keeps me alive and so happy. I love to step out of my world and my situation and into somebody else’s. I get to see the world from multiple perspectives, learn how to have things like empathy and I get to escape reality and enter different worlds, even if it is only for a few minutes.”
