A SECURITY guard was held up and assaulted by a gang of armed robbers at a Pinetown business premises this morning.
Blue Security’s community and media liaison officer, Andreas Mathios, said several men arrived at the business premises in Kings Road in two separate vehicles at about 4.30am.
“The gang forced their way into the premises and held up security guards at gunpoint, assaulting one of the guards in the process,” Mathios said. “It is unclear at this stage what was stolen from the business.”
