Boy (6) injured in Seaview crash

Paramedics found the child lying on the road.

A SIX-year-old boy sustained moderate injuries when he was hit by a vehicle on Seaview Road, near Seaview Primary school on Wednesday afternoon, 30 August.

According to Rescue Care’s Garrith Jamieson, paramedics found the child lying on the road.

“He sustained moderate injuries and was stabilised by advanced life support paramedics on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital,” he said.

At this stage, the events leading up to the accident are unknown, however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
