THREE men died and one was seriously injured following a shootout between police and alleged robbers on the M13, near Paradise Valley about half an hour ago.
According to reports, it is alleged the chase began following a cash-in-transit heist in Hillcrest. It is believed the SAPS chased the robbers down to the M13 by Stapleton Road where a shootout ensued.
One suspect fled on foot, and police are combing the Paradise Valley area.

All emergency services are in attendance. It is believed the M13 will be closed off to clear the scene and carry out an investigation.

Motorists are advised to travel through Cowies Hill.
