Attend multicultural extravaganza

People from all backgrounds are encouraged to attend the cultural extravaganza.

THE Pinetown branch of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), founded by His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, will celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna at the Pinetown Civic Hall on Saturday, 5 August at 5pm.

Residents of Pinetown and surrounding areas are invited to attend and participate in the celebratory atmosphere that has become synonymous with this annual event.

In their previous appearance, the choir of New Germany Primary School had the audience in awe with their enthusiasm and energy and this year will be no different with their rendition of George Harrison’s, “My Sweet Lord”, as well as the National Anthem.

An insightful play depicting the journey of the soul by children of Pinetown will teach valuable lessons on how to effectively resolve the many challenges faced in daily life.

People from all backgrounds are encouraged to attend the cultural extravaganza and are reminded not to leave before sampling the deliciously prepared treats from the East. Contact Prataparudra Das on 076 762 9070.
