Eco forum to meet in Westville

The gathering only happens three times a year to not only share and learn but also to show solidarity for the conservancies movement.

ETHEKWINI Conservancies Forum will meet at the Westville Country Club on Saturday, 22 July at 9am.

The primary role of this gathering is to keep all conservancies well informed and linked together. It’s a great opportunity to network with other people who have similar interests and learn from each other.

The gathering only happens three times a year to not only share and learn but also to show solidarity for the conservancies movement. The guests this time are Kenneth Mabila, manager of Natural Resources and the team from the Department of Environmental Affairs who will update the public on their work particularly on the enforcement/compliance aspects.

The walk after the bring-and-braai (between 1pm and 2pm) will be on the newly built Westville Eco Trail.

Salads and bread rolls will be provided. Take your own cutlery and meat.

The walk will begin at 2pm.
