DRESSED in their Birches T-shirts, denims and tracksuit tops, children held their solar lanterns and made a colourful display on the field at the SPAR solar night walk recently.
After the display, children had to walk around the field for an hour and after the first lap, friends and families were also allowed to join the fun walk.
The evening is Birches Pre-Primary’s compulsory fund-raising function of the year.
After the walk, children went back to their groups on the field and there was a lucky draw for the Spar Grocery trolleys.
A medal was then awarded to each group and all participants received a certificate.
Birches principal, Scilla Edmonds thanked the parents and the sponsors especially SPAR for making the evening a success.
