TAKE NOTE: CROW’s June open day cancelled

While there may not be an open day in June, there are still a few seats available for the wildlife rehabilitation course.

THE Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW)’s monthly open day, initially set for 25 June, has been cancelled due to another event taking place at its education centre on the same day.

CROW is dedicated to creating awareness and educating communities about the importance of caring for and protecting the natural environment and wildlife. CROW hosts monthly open days on the last Sunday of every month to teach communities on ways to do so.

However, on 24 and 25 June, the organisation will be hosting the wildlife rehabilitation introductory course, presented by Nicci Wright and Penelope Morkel. The next open day is on 30 July.

CROW’s open days start at 11am and continue until 1pm. Gates open at 10.45am and the entrance fee is R25 per adult and R10 per child (under 12 years old).
