Grab your leash and pooch for the Kloof SPCA Mutt Mile

This year's annual Mutt Mile promises to be even bigger and better - so pre-register now!

BE sure to pencil The Kloof and Highway SPCA’s annual Mutt Mile Dog Walk into your diary.

The ‘fun-tastic’ event is on Sunday, 25 June.

Registration opens at 9am and the walking route is open from 9am to 11am.

The distance of the walk is 1.6km and the entry fee is R50 per adult, R20 per dog and children under 12 enter for free. For an additional R10 per dog, you can enter your pooch into the Mutt Mile Hero Obstacle Challenge competition.

Special guests, the Bruntville Dog Project, will host an arena demonstration.

The Bruntville Dog Project is a community-based project in Mooi River and its staff teach the children in the area how to train their dogs as well as educate them about the importance of animals in the world.

This year’s Mutt Mile Dog Walk promises to be an exciting day out for the whole family – especially your four legged family members.

All 11 charity shops will be open from 8.30am to 12.30pm and will be filled with newly-donated goods and you are sure to find yourself a little treasure.

There will be live entertainment throughout the morning and plenty of activities for children too.
