Music lovers wine and dine at Woza Moya

Woza Moya and Embocraft's first art evening was a major hit among the Highway community.

TICKETS sold out quickly for Woza Moya and Embocraft’s inaugural piano and art evening recently.

Guests were treated to an evening with well-known local pianist Count Filip Kormuth who played a variety of his own works mixed in with the beautiful pieces by Albeniz, Chopin, Liszt and Debussy. Lazarus, a local metal artist, also set up an exhibition of small, recycled metal animals and birds that can now be found in the Woza Gallery.

The concert was to raise funds for Embocraft and Woza Moya’s training programmes. Guests were also given a light supper prepared by local chef, Charmaine Corbett, who made wholesome, homemade butternut and minestrone soup, that was accompanied by delicious breads and pate.
