TWENTY people were injured when a taxi and a light motor vehicle collided on the M1 just before Old Richmond Road in Mariannhill, this morning.
Garrith Jamieson, spokesman for Rescue Care Paramedics said the taxi rolled down the embankment after the collision and of the 20 people who were injured, 12 were children travelling to school.

“The injured have been treated and are all on route to hospital. The scene is still active and the roads are still closed,” said Jamieson.
