Women uplifted with bra talk

The Escombe Women’s Institute monthly meetings are held every second Thursday of each month at the Congregational Church of Queensburgh hall on Coronation Road in Malvern.

THE Escombe Women’s Institute hosted an inspirational talk with Bra specialist, Amanda Prinsloo at the Congregational Church of Queensburgh in Malvern on Thursday, 11 May.

After being a housewife for a spell, Malvern resident, Amanda Prinsloo opened her own underwear shop and also uses this as an opportunity to motivate women.

The humorous and animated mother and wife is passionate about women-related issues and uses her business to reach out.

The institute meets each month and has a time of fellowship and morning tea with delicious eats.

Invited guests give talks on health issues, travel and other topics of interest at meetings.

Cookery and floral demonstrations are also enjoyed and competitions are held for members to enter and improve their skills in handicraft, baking, craft, floral, agriculture, adult education, and work of the month sections, which are assessed by qualified judges.

There are even a sections for veterans to compete in.
