Fallen tree disrupts traffic on Westbrooke Road, Westville
The fire department is on scene, using chainsaws to cut and clear the tree from the property.
A MASSIVE tree has fallen on a palisade fence on Westbrooke Avenue in Westville.
Andreas Mathios, Blue Security’s media and community liaison, said a resident alerted the control room for assistance, as well as the fire department and parks department.
“The fire department is in the process of using heavy duty chain saw equipment to free up the driveway to regain access to the property. Unfortunately the entry and exit to the property has been closed off.
Mathios added that the homeowner arrived a few minutes ago and is assessing the damage to his property.
