Cyclists gear up for Husky Rescue

Husky Rescue has recruited five cyclists who have dedicated their Aquelle Tour D'Urban to Husky Rescue KZN.

HUSKY Rescue is running a ‘Pedal for Paws’ fund-raising campaign to help with the sterilisation, vaccinations and microchips.

Chantalle Wilson said Husky Rescue KZN has recently received an influx of dogs, surrendered and rescued.

“Six of our furbabies: Aurora, Sadie, Leila, Blaze, Prince and Boika were booked in for sterilisation, vaccines and microchips. A total of R5500 was needed to cover these costs,” she said.

Husky Rescue recruited five cyclists who have dedicated their Aquelle Tour D’Urban to Husky Rescue KZN.

 

Gary Marquis-Jones, Ann du Plessis, Allyson du Plooy, Penny Chapman and Chantelle Webber.

 

Allyson du Plooy, Ann du Plessis, Chantelle Webber, Gary Marquis-Jones and Penny Chapman will be cycling to raise funds for the Huskies.

“To date, they have raised R14 198 for the Huskies which is far beyond our expectations,” she added.

These funds will also be used for other Husky Rescue projects.
