Pinetown woman fights for her life following collision

The family of Hunter Tilling is requesting for anyone who has information about her crash to contact them via the Facebook page.

A PINETOWN family is appealing for the public’s help to find witnesses to a car crash that happened on Good Friday.

According to a close family friend and Durban North resident, Bridget Studzinski, Hunter Tilling is in a coma following a serious head-on-collision along Riverside Road on Friday, 14 April. The accident occurred at around 6pm.

Tilling is 23 years-old and is currently in ICU at Umhlanga Hospital.  The family started a Facebook page at noon today, called Help Hunter Tilling.

They are desperately looking for anyone who saw what happened and are asking for them to come forward with information. Studzinski is appealing to paramedics, motorists or residents in the area who may have heard about the accident to please assist.

The family has created this Facebook page to gain information about the accident and fund Hunter’s medical bills.

The page is also being used to raise funds for Tilling’s medical bills, after she was left without medical cover.

Studzinski said Hunter was about to begin a new job with an interior design company and was in the process of securing a new medical aid service provider.

“Hunter had her whole future ahead of her. She matriculated from St Benedict’s School in Pinetown in 2012 and studied at Varsity College Westville. She is the eldest of three children. Her siblings and parents are devastated. I’m praying that the community is able to help this wonderful and kind person,” said Studzinski.

Those willing to assist can visit the Help Hunter Tilling Facebook page for more details.
