Gang to appear in court for possession of unlicensed firearms

FIVE suspects are expected to appear in court tomorrow, Wednesday, 19 April for possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

According to provincial SAPS spokesperson, Capt Nqobile Gwala five suspects aged 23 and 28 were arrested in Clermont.

“On Sunday, 16 April, the members received a complaint of a group of men in possession of firearms. They proceeded to the Clermont area where they were arrested,” Gwala said.
