LISTEN: Students protest at Edgewood College
Residents have been urged to avoid the area.
POLICE are on guard at Edgewood College in Mariannhill Road, Pinetown as students are protesting.
It is unclear what the students’ grievances are, but according to Andreas Mathios, Blue Security, community and media liaison officer, UKZN officials will be releasing a statement.

The Ashley Residents Neighbourhood Watch also put a warning on their Facebook page:
”Stay away from Edgewood College entrance and the intersection of Mariannhill and Richmond Roadsd. Students protesting out of hand. SAPS RIOT team are on site. Avoid area.”
